After years of working in the film industry (IMDB partial film resume), my creative juices needed to get out of the office and into some fresh air, so, in 2007, I enrolled in the photojournalism program at Victoria's Western Academy of Photography. Hard work and strong writing/photography skills helped me graduate with best overall student and best portfolio honours.
Since graduating in 2008, my life has changed dramatically. My husband retired from a 35-year naval career, we downsized to a 36' fifth wheel and, for several years, we spent our time exploring North America. Now we've made another U-Turn and are living in his home province of Newfoundland and Labrador. There is so much to explore here I can't wait to share the rugged beauty of this, my new home!
